ESPAÑOLA — Northern New Mexico College will host the 2024 Artist Mercado during the 36th annual El Rito Arts Festival May 18 and 19. The Mercado will feature local artists, music, food and activities for the entire family 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in El Pueblito (located behind Grant Gym).

The El Rito Arts Festival celebrates local artists with the Mercado and the El Rito Studio Tour. The Studio Tour is a golden opportunity to visit local artists in their workshops or studios and get a close-up view into what they do.

Additional participants include the El Rito Public Library, the Santa Fe Raptor Center, the U.S. Forest Service and the historic San Juan Nepomuceno Church.
