ALBUQUERQUE — New Mexico State Police (NMSP) Crime Suppression Bureau (CSB) made multiple arrests after conducting a 3-day operation in Albuquerque.
June 3, 5 and 6, 2024, New Mexico State Police Crime Suppression Bureau agents proactively patrolled Albuquerque during an operation targeting criminal activity.
Agents were able to locate and arrest multiple individuals on numerous charges and active warrants.
Angelo Lopez, 34, was arrested on warrants stemming from previous charges of armed robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and resisting and evading an officer.
Jeffrey Brasher, 32, was wanted on multiple warrants along with additional charges of trafficking a controlled substance, (Fentanyl and Methamphetamine). He was located in a vehicle near Rio Bravo and Isleta and taken into custody without further incident.
A search warrant for the vehicle revealed 700 pills of Fentanyl, 32 grams of Methamphetamine, 3 grams of cocaine and 2 firearms.
The 3-day operation yielded 13 arrests and the removal of dangerous drugs off the streets. New Mexico State Police will continue to conduct operations like these throughout the year.
