NMED To Host Los Alamos Community Engagement Meeting On Biogeochemical Remediation Of Chromium Plume Online

The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) will host a virtual Los Alamos community engagement meeting 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2022.

The purpose of these routine quarterly meetings is to engage the community in discussion of topics related to NMED’s work at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).

The topic of this meeting will be Biogeochemical Remediation of the Chromium Plume, with information provided by Dr. Patrick Longmire of the NMED Ground Water Quality Bureau. There also will be time allotted for questions and brief public statements at the conclusion of the presentation.
