NMDOT News:

ABIQUIU – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) would like the traveling public to be aware of changes to the flow of traffic on N.M. 96 beginning today.

NMDOT and Kimo Constructors, Inc. will begin bridge and roadwork on N.M. 96 about 1.5 miles west of County Road 217 near Coyote.

Drivers can expect reduced speed limits and periodic single lane closures. Please use caution when approaching this area and pay attention to construction signs and personnel.

The project is expected to be completed in the fall of 2021.
