N.M. District 43 Rep. Christine Chandler files for re-election Tuesday morning inside Council Chambers at the Municipal Building. Chandler, Democrat, is currently serving her third term. She said she decided to run again because ‘I really enjoy working on the issues related to the state and trying to help people. I still think there’s a lot to do and I bring a lot of experience on how state and local government work.’ She added if elected she would like to continue address installing guardrails for social media and AI as well as continuing to support families in the state.
