Los Alamos Historical Society News:

The Board of Directors has announced that Todd Nickols will lead Los Alamos Historical Society (LAHS) as its new executive director.

Many may recognize Nickols as a Los Alamos native and graduate of the “other” LAHS, “so we know he already values all of the deep and rich history of Los Alamos,” the Board said.

Nickols brings a wealth of leadership experience to his new position. Prior to his six-year tenure heading up the LAHS History Museum and volunteer corps, he managed the Bandelier Trading Company, where he was responsible for staff supervision, administration, interaction with the National Park Service, and countless other duties. He served at Bandelier for 8 years.

Following Liz Martineau’s departure, Nickols will take over April 23.
