Newnam & Strother Tie For Best Predictor In Pace Race

ACRR News:

Brian Newnam and Billy Strother, 12, tied for most accurate predictor with a 15 second differential in the weekly pace race Tuesday held on the Canada de Buey Trail in White Rock.

Other accurate predictors:

  • Tied with a 18 second difference; 11 year oldRobbie Ferenbaugh, 11, Sean Thomas, Priscila Rosa and Travis Gibson who also is the top finisher on the 3 mile course with a time of 19:08;
  • Luke Gibson, 9, came in at 27 seconds off his predicted time;
  • Athena Darlington, 2, was 42 seconds off; and
  • Diego Leonard, 11, had a 48 second error.

On the 1 mile course Levi Gibson, 10, was the best finisher recording a 6:44 and his mother Lindsay Gibson was the best female at 10:00.

Savanna Strother, 13, had a time of 23:04 for first female finisher on the 3 mile course.

Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, starting on the golf course maintenance road, which is located just off San Ildefonso Road on North Mesa on the immediate right after taking a right turn from the traffic circle at the end of Diamond Drive. 1 mile trail and 3 mile hybrid courses will be available.
