Saint Job Orthodox Parish in Los Alamos will welcome its new pastor the Rev. Theophan Mackey in January. 

Father Theophan and his family will arrive early January to celebrate Nativity with the community Jan. 6-7.  

Services for the Feast of Nativity, celebrated according to the Julian Calendar, will be: Vesperal Liturgy Tuesday evening beginning at 6 p.m. followed by Holy Supper and on Wednesday morning Divine Liturgy for the Feast of Nativity starting at 6:30 a.m. Services will be at 2270 39th St.

Father Theophan is a graduate of Saint Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary in South Canaan, Penn., where he earned a Masters of Divinity. He also is a graduate of NMSU in Las Cruces. He most recently served as priest at Saint Michael’s Orthodox Church in Mt. Carmel, Penn.
