Registration for Los Alamos High School is rapidly approaching. Registration will take place Aug. 5-8.
This year Los Alamos High School is excited to announce a new option to pay online that will be a timesaver for students and their parents.
Aug. 1, students’ schedules for the 2013-14 school year will be available on PowerSchool, which is accessible on the Los Alamos Schools website at http://laschools.net/lahs. Prior to registration, parents can go onto PowerSchool and get their student’s schedule. Then they can go to the LAHS home page and select “Paying Fees and Fines” under the “Site Shortcuts.” The link to the payment page is apparent and instructions are provided.
Payments are accepted through PayPal but a PayPal account is NOT necessary to make payment. There will also be a financing option available through PayPal, called “Bill Me Later” if as much as $99 will be owed.
Paying ahead of registration day will be a huge timesaver for parents and their students. The most important thing to remember, however, is that the student or parent must bring the payment receipt with them to registration.
LAHS staff hopes that parents will make use of this new option and save themselves considerable time.
