New Mexico State Rep. Stefani Lord Formalizes Impeachment Process Of Governor, Calls For Extraordinary Session

Rep. Stefani Lord (Bernalillo & Torrance Counties)

STATE News:

SANDIA PARK – New Mexico State Rep. Stefani Lord (R-NM-22) has formalized the impeachment process calling for an extraordinary session to hold Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham accountable for violating her oath of office.

Rep. Lord has begun petitioning lawmakers in New Mexico for an extraordinary session to begin impeachment hearings “after the Governor’s emergency health order outlawed the Second Amendment”.

Lord has been a vocal critic of this emergency order and continues to bring national media attention to the Governor’s “illegal attempt to ban legal gun ownership”.

“The country is watching how we respond here in New Mexico,” she said. “Radical liberals from California to New York are watching New Mexico to see how we respond to this egregious attempt to violate our rights. We must hold Governor Lujan Grisham accountable for her actions and remove her from office for violating her oath of office and her oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. Radical liberals and conservatives alike have called out Governor Lujan Grisham for her illegal overreach. I implore all of my colleagues to sign our certification form, hold an extraordinary session, and hold Governor Lujan Grisham accountable for her actions. It is time for my colleagues to show up or shut up.”
