New Mexico State Police Crime Suppression Unit Makes Narcotics Arrest, Participates In Joint Auto Theft Operation

NMSP News:

ALBUQUERQUE — At about 3 p.m., Nov. 8, 2023, the New Mexico State Police (NMSP) Crime Suppression Unit arrested Zion Graham, 24, of Albuquerque on an arrest warrant for the trafficking of Fentanyl.

Through investigation, agents had reason to believe Graham was in the area near Unser and Paradise in Albuquerque.

He was located in that area and arrested without incident. His vehicle, which is believed to contain additional narcotics, was secured and taken as evidence and is pending a search warrant.

Graham was the suspect in a previous Crime Suppression narcotics investigation. That case is still pending in court. Graham is under conditions of release, however, continued to engage in the trafficking of narcotics. He was booked into the Metro Detention Center.

Later that day, the NMSP Crime Suppression Unit and Special Operations Teams participated in a joint auto theft operation with the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office and the 2nd Judicial District Attorney’s Office. This operation led to the recovery of four stolen vehicles and the arrest of five criminals.
