New Mexico State Parks Division has announced that Eagle Nest Lake at Eagle Nest Lake State Park was closed to ice fishing Jan. 4 due to deteriorating ice conditions.

The surface of the lake is closed to all activities. For further information, call 575.377.1594.

The parks division also announced that Fenton Lake State Park closed Fenton Lake today to ice fishing due to deteriorating ice conditions.
