Just in time for opening day, New Mexico State Fair officials have announced the schedule for discount and special recognition days for the 2025 New Mexico State Fair.

In addition to discount days, which ensure the fair is affordable and accessible for all New Mexicans, the Fair hosts special recognition days to honor our state’s public servants and public safety personnel.

Opening Day Specials, Thursday, Sept. 4

• $2 Admission: Kick off the fair with a bang! Admission to the fair is just $2, making it more accessible than ever for families and friends to enjoy a day of fun.
• $2 Rides: Thrill-seekers, rejoice! All rides across the midway will be just $2 each, giving everyone a chance to experience the excitement without breaking the bank.
• Graze Dayz $5 Food Specials: Satisfy your cravings with a variety of delicious offerings from our food vendors. On opening day, each food vendor will offer a select menu item for just $5, ensuring there’s something tasty for everyone.
• Law Enforcement Day: Free admission for New Mexico Law Enforcement officers and personnel with a valid ID.

Friday, Sept. 5

• Firefighters and First Responders Day: Firefighters and first responders free with valid ID.
• State Employee Appreciation: Admission $10 on site only with proof of State employment.

Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 6-7

• Teacher Appreciation Weekend: School employees free with proof.
• State Employee Appreciation: Admission $10 on site only with proof of State employment.

Monday, Sept. 8

• $5 admission, online only. Full price at the gate.

Tuesday, Sept. 9

• Military Appreciation Day: Active-duty military and veterans free with proof.
• $5 admission online only. Full price at the gate.

Wednesday, Sept. 10

• Dollar Day: $1 admission, $1 rides.

Thursday, Sept. 11

• $5 admission online only. Full price at the gate.
• Graze Dayz: Food vendors will offer a select menu item for just $5.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 12-14

• City and County Employee Appreciation: $10 admission on site only with proof of city/county employment.
