New Mexico Reported COVID-19 Recoveries Track 10 Days After Reported Positive Tests

The number of  COVID-19 cases designated as having recovered by the New Mexico Department of Health tracks 10 days after the number of positive tests for COVID-19. The curve labeled Total Positive Tests is the cumulative number of positive COVID-19 tests. The curve labeled Recovered + Deaths is the sum of total recovered to that date and the total deaths reported by that date. Also displayed is the Total Positive Tests curve displaced 10 days later in time. This tracking implies that the time from confirmation of COVID-19 to recovery is a maximum 10 days. However, it could be less for many infected individuals. For example, DOH protocol may be to test individuals with confirmed COVID-19, 10 days after confirmation. Created by Marv Alme
