New Mexico Performance Excellence Awards Ceremony April 22-23

  • David Barger, JetBlue President/CEO and Dr. Terry Holliday, keynote event

ALBUQUERQUE – Registration is underway for the 2013 Quality New Mexico Learning Summit and New Mexico Performance Excellence Awards Ceremony scheduled for April 22-23 at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque.

Keynote speakers for the event are David Barger, President/CEO, JetBlue and Dr. Terry Holliday, Commissioner of Kentucky Department of Education. 

The two-day Learning Summit will feature “best practice” sessions on the “7 Keys to Performance Excellence” by outstanding presenters from New Mexico and across the nation. 

In addition, a special ceremony will be held at noon, April 23 to honor the 2012 New Mexico Performance Excellence Awards recipients:

  • Zia Award for Performance Excellence – Lovelace Westside Hospital (Albuquerque)
  • Roadrunner Recognition: Del Norte Credit Union (Santa Fe/Espanola); Gila Regional Medical Center (Silver City); Maroland, LLC (Albuquerque); Nor-Lea Hospital District (Lovington)
  • Pinon Recognition: Quality & Performance Assurance Division, LANL (Los Alamos); Luna Community College (Las Vegas); MOSS ADAMS, LLC (Albuquerque); New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division (NM); and Technical Area Five, Sandia National Laboratories (Albuquerque)

Quality New Mexico, a non-profit organization, drives performance excellence in New Mexico organizations by providing role models, tools, knowledge, learning experiences, and best practices. 

Quality New Mexico is the official administrator of the New Mexico Performance Excellence Awards patterned after the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
