New Mexico Museum Of Natural History & Science Celebrates Opening Of Bradbury Stamm Construction Hall of Ancient Life With Free Admission Feb. 16

New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science (NMMNHS) is celebrating the opening of the new Bradbury Stamm Construction Hall of Ancient Life with a beach party 300 million years in the making!

When: The museum is free with proof of New Mexico residency 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16. Activities run10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

The Bradbury Stamm Construction Hall of Ancient Life, the museum’s new permanent exhibition showcasing life in New Mexico before the dinosaurs, opens to the public the weekend of Feb. 15. To celebrate, NMMNHS invites New Mexicans to explore the Hall of Ancient Life and all exhibits free of charge Feb. 16. Please bring a driver’s license or other proof of residency to participate.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., enjoy a Paleozoic beach party inspired by the New Mexico’s ancient landscape showcased in the new hall. Craft and create with us as we discover New Mexico underwater with ancient sea creatures. Then come ashore and explore life on land with gigantic bugs, ancient amphibians, reptiles, and more. Enjoy listening and learning about this beach bonanza during toddler and school-age Story Times.

It’s a chance to explore a new chapter of New Mexico’s natural history free of charge!
