Help New Mexico History Museum and the Native American Portal Artisans celebrate the work of young Native artists!
Tthe annual Youth Show will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 15-16,in the Palace of the Governors Courtyard. Admission to NMHM will be free both days!
The Youth Show, an extension of the Native American Artisans Portal Program, is held twice a year. The young Native artists featured in the Youth Show range from five to seventeen years old, representing a burgeoning wave of creativity in a variety of mediums. They are often the children and grandchildren of Portal Program participants.
Through the Youth Show, they build confidence and communication skills, and often go on to become members of the Portal Program and leaders themselves.
