New Mexico Department Of Transportation To Host Public Meeting For I-40 Miyamura Interchange Study Oct. 8

GALLUP — The I-40 Miyamura Interchange Study is sponsored by the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to improve the I-40 and Miyamura Drive interchange for safety and operations.

The purpose of the first public meeting is to introduce the study, review the existing conditions of the study area, and hear from the public on their concerns and ideas before the study team begins developing alternatives.

A presentation and Q&A will be hosted at 6 p.m., with an open house format before and after, where the study team will be available to answer questions.

Date: 5:30–7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, Gallup Community Service Center (410 Bataan Veterans St, Gallup, NM 87301)

A public comment period will be open from Oct. 8 through Nov. 8, 2024. Comments can be submitted in the following ways:
