SANTA FE — The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) has added a page to its website, NMHealth.org, to provide the latest information and answers to frequently asked questions about the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) originating in Wuhan, China.

“The most common question the NMDOH has received over the last several days has been ‘Can I or someone in my family contract coronavirus?’” NMDOH Cabinet Secretary Kathy Kunkel said. “The answer is not at this time, unless you have recently traveled to affected parts of China or have been in contact with someone confirmed to have novel coronavirus.”
