COMMUNITY News:
Late Monday afternoon employees at N3B Los Alamos, the Los Alamos legacy cleanup contractor, received the following notification from management:
N3B management was notified that a member of our team had tested positive for COVID-19.
We are working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the New Mexico Department of Health (NM DOH) to ensure coworkers who had contact with the individual take appropriate action and seek medical attention if symptoms arise.
The health and safety of our employee team is paramount. As such, much of our administrative workforce began working remotely over the last two weeks to help limit any potential for exposure.
Last Friday we reduced field work to essential mission critical activities, which reduced the number of personnel working in the field to only those necessary to keep systems and facilities in a safe configuration.
Please continue to follow CDC and NM DOH recommendations to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
