NMDOT News:
MILAN — The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) District Six along with Kachina Trucking Service Inc (Contractor) roadway and shoulder work is underway to clear out sand along portions of N.M. 118 between Church Rock and Wingate.
Work began Tuesday on the westbound section of the corridor at mile marker 29.5 (East of Church Rock) and will continue east to mile marker 33.5 (Wingate). All traffic will be diverted onto I-40 along the corridor while work is in progress.
The contractor’s work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Drivers should expect minor delays and plan travel accordingly. All work is expected to be complete by early- to mid-May.
