STAFF REPORT

Thursday’s Art in Public Places “Call for Art” event at the Los Alamos County Municipal Building drew an innovative array of submissions for art to adorn the Municipal Building’s West Plaza.

Art in Public Places board member Ken Nebel said the board will have a difficult time narrowing down the submissions.

A special Arts in Public Place Board meeting has been scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Tuesday in Room #110 at the Municipal Building to review and discuss the proposals received from the “Call for Art” event.

Possible action may be taken at this meeting. The public is invited to attend.

Watch for an indepth report and photos of other art submissions from Thursday’s “Call for Art” event later in the Los Alamos Daily Post.
