At a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Los Alamos, Charles Strickfaden, Los Alamos Site Manager for the Manhattan Project Historical National Park (MPHNP) and the Superintendent of Fort Union National Monument, described how national parks are created and how the three area parks — Bandelier National Monument, the Valles Caldera Preserve and the MPHNP all work together.
