‘Mozart on the Rocks’ Opera at Bandelier on Sept. 29

FREE TO ALL! The Los Alamos Opera Guild (LAOG) The Guilds of The Santa Fe Opera, Inc. and Bandelier National Monument will co-host OPERA AT BANDELIER.

The event will be held on National Public Lands Day, Saturday Sept. 29, at the Bandelier amphitheater. Visitors will be able to enjoy the fall colors at Bandelier while listening to music.

The performance will be “THE THREE SOPRANOS” singing Mozart; coordinated by local Opera singer Alicia Soloman with Jess Cullinan and Heather McCulloch.

Enjoy selections from the Magic Flute, Marriage of Figaro, and Cosi fan tutte accompanied by pianist Brian Huysman.

Come early to a tailgate picnic at the grand opening of the White Rock Visitor Center complex before you hop on the Atomic City Transit to Bandelier National Monument.

The Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce will be helping here. This is a real community get together.

Tailgating begins at 4 p.m., shuttle buses will begin leaving for the park at 5 p.m., and the performance will begin at 6:15 p.m.

Complimentary wine tasting will be provided by Don Quixote & Winery at the amphitheater.

Entry fees are FREE on Sept. 29 because of National Public Land Day but DONATIONS FOR MUSICIANS ARE WELCOME!
