ALBUQUERQUE ― Tuesday, Coach Greg Jackson announced that he is launching the “New Mexico Experience” to promote New Mexico businesses and tourism as he travels the world coaching the best MMA fighters in the sport.
Jackson, who grew up in the South Valley, has built an internationally-known business and brand headquartered in Downtown Albuquerque.
As one of the best and busiest coaches in the world, Jackson maintains a firm and active commitment to improving the lives of New Mexico children and families, growing our state’s economy, and working with law enforcement to better fight crime. Jackson will kick off the “New Mexico Experience” in Melbourne, Australia while coaching at UFC 234.
He will promote the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, Santa Fe’s Meow Wolf, and Organ Mountain Outfitters of Las Cruces.
“New Mexico’s unrivaled culture, businesses, and natural beauty remain one of the best-kept secrets in the world, but it’s time we all join forces to tell our amazing story on the international stage,” Jackson said. “I am truly blessed to have grown up, raised my family, and built my businesses in New Mexico, but now it’s time for me to do more for the state I love. The New Mexico Experience will allow me to brag about and showcase our state’s unique businesses and tourism opportunities on the global stage. I’m very excited to partner with New Mexico businesses as we all work together to grow and diversify our economy.”

While coaching in Australia, Jackson will sporting and gifting apparel and accessories, and speaking to international media, government officials, athletes, coaches, and celebrities about New Mexico Experience companies.
After returning home from UFC 234, which will be held Feb. 9, Jackson will announce how New Mexico businesses can nominate themselves to be the next three “New Mexico Experience” companies at UFC 235. For each trip Jackson takes, he will select one company each from northern, central and southern New Mexico. UFC 235 will be held March 2 in Las Vegas, Nev.
