MRM News:

The Miniatures Show and Sale is an annual exhibition and fundraising event featuring small scale, self-submitted works by local and regional artists. The show is entirely independent, and artist driven, offering a genuine snapshot of the local creative community and the opportunity to view and purchase original artwork in an intimate format.

The Millicent Rogers Museum is pleased to announce the opening preview event and sale for its 24th annual Miniatures Show and Sale, taking place from 5-7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 6. This ticketed preview event offers the first opportunity to meet participating local artists, view, and purchase an exceptional collection of small-scale artworks created by regional artists.

This year’s Miniatures Show and Sale marks the largest participation in the event’s history, with more than 200 local artists submitting work. The exhibition features a wide range of styles, media, and creative approaches, all unified by the miniature format. The preview event serves as both a celebratory opening and an in-person sale, giving attendees early access to the collection.

Tickets for the February 6 preview event are open to the public and available for purchase online in advance or at the door the night of the event. Admission is $10 for museum members and $15 for nonmembers. Due to the popularity of the show, many artworks are expected to sell during the preview event.

Awards for the Miniatures Show and Sale will be announced during the preview evening. Guests will have the opportunity to experience award winning works firsthand while enjoying the lively atmosphere of opening night.

For those unable to attend the preview event, all remaining artworks will be available for purchase online beginning the day after the show or in person at the museum. The exhibition will be on view from Feb. 7 through March 8, 2026.
