Michael Donnelly Of Los Alamos Named Ski Instructor Of The Year/Inducted Into New Mexico Ski Hall Of Fame

Longtime Los Alamos ski instructor Michael Donnelly was named Ski Instructor of the Year and inducted into the New Mexico Ski Hall of Fame Sunday evening at a special ceremony at the Anderson Abruzzo International Balloon Museum in Albuquerque.

Donnelly, 81, was recognized for his contributions to the ski industry in New Mexico.

Ski New Mexico Board Chairman Michael Donovan said, “The Best of the Best” winners make the ski industry in New Mexico better for everyone involved. They make your day better, the sport more fun and your experience of skiing better than anywhere else in the country.

“Mike your contributions are too numerous to list … but you were truly the cream of the crop,” Donovan said. “Ski New Mexico salutes you for your outstanding efforts, which go above and beyond. You are truly the ‘Best of the Best’ Ski Instructor.”
