Message From LAPS Superintendent To Graduates … Best Of Luck, Class Of 2025 … You’ve Got This!

LAPS Superintendent Jennifer Guy

To the Class of 2025,

Congratulations! You’ve made it!

This moment marks the culmination of years of hard work, persistence, and growth. You’ve earned it. You should be proud of the work that you have done and the person you’ve become along the way.

I’ve had the privilege of watching many of you grow since elementary school. I have seen you learn new things, build friendships, try new things, overcome challenges, explore your interests, and grow into leaders. Every phase of your journey mattered. Along the way, you’ve helped shape our schools and made our community stronger.

As you head into what comes next—college, career, service, or something entirely different—I hope you carry these lessons with you:

Be kind. To others and to yourself.
Don’t be afraid to try. Or to fail.
Learn from mistakes. They’ll be some of your best teachers.
Pursue what matters to you. Find purpose, find joy.

No path is the same, and that’s exactly how it should be. You make a difference every day by being you. Keep growing. Keep asking questions. Keep showing up with passion.

We’ll miss you. And we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way.

Best of luck, Class of 2025. You’ve got this.

With pride,
Jennifer Guy
LAPS Superintendent
