SANTA FE Meow Wolf and The City Of Santa Fe present Southside Summer Wheels, a free event for the entire family that features a lowrider & custom car show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday June 24 in the Meow Wolf parking lot.
Also that day and evening, Meow Wolf, Rufina Circle and the Rufina/ Siler District offer a marvelous range of free neighborhood experiences, events and specials.
“Summer’s here and the neighborhood is totally happening right now,” Meow Wolf CEO Vince Kadlubek said. “We encourage Santa Fe locals and our visitors to check out the coolest cars in the world and party with Santa Fe’s coolest neighborhood for an awesome day of New Mexico culture, music, art, food and community.”
In maximal Meow Wolf style, there will be face painting, kids’ activities, performances and live music on site as well as the ridiculously delicious Trinity Kitchen, Taqueria Gracias Madre, Back Road Pizza, and Sparky’s Hot Dog Stand food trucks. Parking is limited and guests are strongly encouraged to take Santa Fe City Bus #2 that runs on Sunday or to walk, bike or rideshare to the festivities.
Meow Wolf will present five awards to the best cars, whose owners will also receive gift certificates from local Siler/Rufina businesses and a custom medal made by Meow Wolf art team veteran Quinn Tincher. There are 100 registration spots and all car owners who register get free admission to the Meow Wolf exhibit. Contact to register your car or to register and find out more about the event visit
