HOUSTON, TX — Meow Wolf Houston and Saint Arnold Brewing Company are teaming up to throw a neighborhood-sized celebration for 713 Day. From 12–4 p.m., Sunday, July 13 the two Fifth Ward neighbors will transform the block into a free outdoor party filled with live music, art, performances, and newly activated portals.
A new wormhole has opened at Meow Wolf’s 713 Day Block Party that invites Houstonians of all ages to celebrate the city across dimensions. Guests can expect live music, local merch, ice-cold drinks, and a wild pop-up portal that opens straight into the unexpected for free.
Meow Wolf will host this multiversal block party at the entrance to the exhibition on Lyons Avenue. DJ MLE will energize the plaza with a high intensity mix that sets the tone for the day. As guests explore, they can cool off with free Popston popsicles (while supplies last), encounter a pop-up chrome world from Meow Wolf Houston, and browse a limited-edition merch drop designed by beloved Houston artists Gonzo247 and Caitlin Caselli. It’s a visual love letter to the city, created for and by the community that inspires it.
“713 Day is pure Houston energy, and we wanted to throw a party that lives up to that,” Aaron Johnson said, General Manager of Meow Wolf Houston. “This block party is about celebrating the city with the people who make it unforgettable.”
In collaboration with Meow Wolf, Saint Arnold Brewing Company will celebrate with commemorative 713 Day pint glasses, a special Purple Syrup twist on their Boiler Room Berliner Weisse, and a curated Space City Local Market featuring Houston artists and makers at their location.
Throughout the afternoon, their Beer Garden stage will host a powerful lineup of live music and performance:
- 12 p.m. – Batalá Houston (Thunderous Samba Reggae Percussion)
- 1 p.m. – Mariachi Amor Mexico (Colorful All-Female Mariachi)
- 2 p.m. – Batalá Houston
- 3 p.m. – Hot City Brass Band (Explosive Bayou Brass)
No tickets are required to attend the outdoor 713 Day Block Party, and all ages are welcome. Guests who want to explore Meow Wolf’s full exhibition, Radio Tave, are encouraged to grab a timed entry ticket at meowwolf.com/houston for the same day.
