- April Entrepreneur Mixer
The April 8 LAEN Entrepreneur and Start-up Mixer will focus on the topic “Selling Online in an International Marketplace”.
The mixer is 5:30-7 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at Diamond Mix (1900 Diamond Dr. in the Pueblo Complex). Attending is free although an RSVP (via the website) is requested.
This month there will be two guests with first-hand experience joining us via Google Hangout to share their experience:
- Frank Betolaud is the Founder and CEO of GroupBinc, a company that develops and markets “radical underwater tools for deep water exploration.” They market internationally through an online presence.
- Emile Petrone is the founder and CEO of Tindie.com, a platform for sales and marketing of hardware and associated services created by small, entrepreneurial businesses. Founded in 2012, Tindie now features more than 1,000 products offered by sellers around the globe.
There are several regular opportunities to get together with other people in Los Alamos who are interested in networking about entrepreneurial interests, inventions, innovations, and ideas. A Meetup group at http://www.meetup.com/LAENet has a calendar of these events and provides a message board for connecting with others who may share your interests. Joining the Meetup group at http://www.meetup.com/LAENet is free and easy and gives the opportunity to RSVP for events and participate on the message board. You can adjust how often you are sent communications to whatever frequency you choose.
