BUSINESS News:

I have always had a fascination with vintage items, as a child my parents would go antiquing on Sunday drives.

Two years ago I decided to make a calendar for my friends and family for Christmas using my graphics software and vintage images I had found. Next I made some magnets, note pads and aprons because it was something I enjoyed doing. Then my husband told me I had too much stuff and needed to sell some of it, that is how Sweet ‘n Snarky was born.

I have some friends who also enjoy crafting and ‘treasure hunting’ and in 2013 we decided to have our own sales event, calling it You Need a Gift, renting conference rooms or halls to display and sell our items.

When Nu 2 U announced it was opening, it seemed like the perfect fit for us to have a permanent place to display our wares. Our space at the store is a combination of our crafting efforts, upcycled items and treasures that have caught our eyes as we travel or are “hunting”.

Visit Sweet ‘n Snarky inside NU 2 U Consignments and Gifts at 1460 Trinity Dr. Suite 1 or the Sweet ‘n Snarky facebook page www.facebook.com/pages/Sweet-n-Snarky or website at www.sweetnsnarky.com.
