Sweet and friendly, Douglas the cat is ready to find his forever home. He’s thriving in the Los Alamos County Animal Shelter and gets along well with the other cats, but deep down, he wants his own person or family.

Anyone looking for a loyal companion is encouraged to visit Douglas at the shelter at 226 East Road. Adoption includes spaying or neutering, FELV/FIV and heartworm tests on cats and dogs, microchips and vaccinations.

The shelter is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Tuesday and closed Wednesdays.
