The community is invited to join the Pajarito Environmental Education Center for its first Summer Family Evening of the year at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 5.
Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary will be at the nature center with one of its wolf ambassadors for the evening.
The Sanctuary’s staff will talk about wolves and their diet, hunting strategies, family life, physical adaptations, pack structure and more. Visitors can meet the ambassador wolf while learning about these amazing creatures. There will be limited seating at this event, so arrive early or bring a camping chair.
Del Norte Credit Union is sponsoring Summer Family Evenings all summer long at 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday throughout June and July at the nature center.
Summer Family Evenings are free for PEEC family members and $5 per family for non-members. Admission is paid at the door.

PEEC was founded in 2000 to serve the community of Los Alamos. It offers people of all ages a way to enrich their lives by strengthening their connections to our canyons, mesas, mountains, and skies.
