COMMUNITY News:

Live in Los Alamos is bringing Max Gomez back to play his annual holiday show. The doors open at 6 p.m. and the music begins at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30 at Fuller Lodge.

Gomez will be joined this year by recent transplant to New Mexico, Americana stand-out Esther Rose, who is touring in support of her fourth studio album.

Gomez will again be joined by his New Mexico bandmates and perhaps an additional friend or two. This is the fifth time the holiday show has been held in Fuller Lodge and this one appears headed to a sell out just as the other four have. At press time there were fewer than 50 tickets left available.

Tickets are $35 at Los Alamos Schools Credit Union and $39.60 at https://liveinlosalamos.com/. If tickets remain at the door the night of the concert, they will be $45.

Gomez hails from the hills to the north, calling Taos home even though he is working in Los Angeles. He received critical acclaim for his debut album Rule the World and his subsequent EP, Me and Joe, which featured Make it Me, a tune that gained more than 3.5 million listens on Spotify. Gomez also has new material he is eager to roll out to his Los Alamos friends.

Laura Crucet and her staff at Pig&Fig will offer a pre-ordered meal service to be delivered to the venue (see https://liveinlosalamos.com/ for instructions) and Bathtub Row will serve beer and wine when doors open at 6 p.m. Lighter snacks and non-alcoholic drinks will also be available.
