COMMUNITY News:
Calling all book lovers, collectors, sellers, buyers and those wanting to do early Christmas shopping or just wanting to support the community … an upcoming benefit book sale is a fantastic opportunity.
This massive book sale is 9 a.m. through 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 at 3549 Ridgeway Dr., near the Los Alamos High School.
COVID-19 safe practices will be enforced and face masks required at this event.
“You miss the Bookstore. We miss the Bookstore. Friends, neighbors and members of our community have provided hundreds of books for a private sale with all the proceeds going to benefit the Friends of Los Alamos County Libraries.
“Here is your opportunity to help your county libraries as well as get your cold-weather read on. Most of the books will be available for $5 per bag (provided). This is a great time to stock up on winter reading material.”
