ACRR News:
Sydney Marshall, 10, had a perfect prediction of 12:00 minutes for her time to finish as well as the top finisher in the 1-mile Atomic City Road Runner (ACRR) weekly pace race held in the Quemazon Complex. Other accurate predictors were Priscila Rosa with a 7 second differential; Hal Marshall at 12 seconds off and the best male finisher on the 1-mile course at 12:04; Jan Velechovsky with a 30 second difference; and Lynn Bjorklund recording a 37 second differential.
In the 5K distance Eric Anderson had a time of 26:05 for top finisher and Adrienne Hetrick was the first female recording a 34:05.
Next week’s pace race is 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, on American Springs Road, which is in the Jemez approximately 1.6 miles on N.M. 4, West on the right after turning right at the junction of N.M. 501 (West Jemez Road) and N.M. 4 (“Back Gate”). 1, 2, and 3-mile trail courses will be available.
