COMMUNITY News:
Gloria Brehm, owner of The Perch Paperie, will host Community Hour at Ruby K’s Bagel Café 5:30-7 p.m., June 13.
Attendees will use Gelli Arts Printing Plates to make two greeting cards. Supplies will be provided. This craft is suitable for both adults and kids.
Brehm opened The Perch Paperie in December 2012, to serve as a scrap-booking, stamping and mixed media arts retreat for creative minds. Perch Paperie has classes almost daily for kids and adults. To see the events schedule, visit http://www.perchpaperie.com.
“I think that the true meaning of being crafty is learning how to creatively use the things we already have and not buying into a disposable life,” Brehm writes on her website.
