Espanola’s Mainstreet Theater is hosting auditions for its upcoming production of “Acting May Be Murder.” Auditions are 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at 500 Paseo de Onate in Espanola.

“Acting May Be Murder” is a mystery/comedy that spoofs Agatha Christie and Alfred Hitchcock. The play is a “who dunnit” backstage comedy that will keep the audience guessing. The cast will be made up of six men and eight women from late teen to adult.The performances are 7 p.m. June 2, 3, 9 and 10. There will be a 2 p.m. matinee June 4 and 11.
