LWVLA News:

The League of Women Voters of Los Alamos (LWVLA) community event, Lunch with a Leader, is noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18 on Zoom.

The month’s leader is Chair Katie Leonard of the Los Alamos County Resiliency, Energy, and Sustainability Task Force. 

Leonard graduated from Los Alamos High School in 2001. She attended Willamette University in Salem, Ore., and has bachelor degrees in history and French and a Masters of Teaching. She was a high school French teacher for 13 years and has lived and taught English on three separate occasions in France.

Leonard said she is passionate about environmental issues as one must be to be chair the Los Alamos Resiliency, Energy, and Sustainability Task Force! She resides in Los Alamos with her husband and their one-year-old son Fox.
