COUNTY News:

Lumbre Del Sol will headline the Summer Concert tonight at Ashley Pond Park. Entertainment starts at 6 p.m., followed at 7 p.m. by the headliner. N3B is tonight’s concert sponsor.

Lumbre Del Sol is a Latin-Rock group from Santa Fe whose music represents the diverse cultural influences and experiences of the people of New Mexico.

Formed in 1973 by founding member Chris Abeyta after serving in the US Navy, his musical dream was fulfilled. The band continues to entertain audiences with high energy, family oriented performances throughout New Mexico and the southwest.

Influenced by the music of Santana, El Chicano, Little Joe y La Familia, The Beatles, and Stevie Wonder (just to name a few), the band gets its true inspiration from its roots in Santa Fe.

The current members of Lumbre Del Sol, Amado Abeyta , Buddy Abeyta , David “The Duke” Vigil, Steve Maestas, Bobby Perea, and Joe Wheeler are proud to carry on the musical dream, family tradition and will keep the fire burning.
