Family Strengths Network (FSN) is having its Annual Lucky Ducky Day Carnival event 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 at 3540 Orange St. and the whole community is invited.
FSN is having all free events with the exception of the Rubber Ducky Races in which people purchase rubber ducks for $5 each and race them down the organization’s large grass front yard on rain gutter tracks (unlimited play) and can win chances at raffle prices each time their duck wins. FSN also will have bounce houses, carnival games, scavenger hunt, balloon animals, face painting, crafts and much more. Come bid on all sorts of exciting items and gift cards from FSN’s wonderful giving community at its silent auction. There will be food to purchase from PaPa Murphy’s Pizza, Hawaiian Shaved Ice and a variety of tasty treats at the bake sale.
Family Strengths Network is a private, non-profit organization that has served the families of Los Alamos and Northern New Mexico since 1989 through the Family Resource Center and programs. FSN provides education, social groups, and fun activities to all types of families, parents, teens and children. Through its work, FSN improves the quality of family life for generations.
