Los Luceros Historic Site To Host Dawn ‘til Dusk Event

The community is invited to enjoy the changing season at Los Luceros Historic Site during Dawn ‘Til Dusk Day on the first Sunday of each month.

Sundays, Sept. 7, Oct. 5, and Nov. 2.

Admission for New Mexico residents is free.

Details:

  • What: Dawn ‘Til Dusk days offer extended hours to explore the exhibits, historic buildings, nature trails, and farm animals at Los Luceros. Visitors can take a guided bird walk with staff from the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) at 7:00 a.m. Sign-up ahead of time online at peecnature.org/events/. At 10:30 a.m. Interpretive Ranger Kara will lead a guided tour of the historic district, sharing stories about the buildings and people who once lived at the site. Visitors can picnic, take a stroll, and explore the exhibits inside the visitor center. Leashed dogs are welcome on the outdoor grounds and trails.
