Los Luceros Historic Site News: 

The community is invited to join Santa Fe impressionistic artist Michele Byrne for a plein air painting workshop where the summer beauty of Los Luceros will inspire participants to express their creativity.

Byrne will guide participants in capturing the very essence of light on canvas. Each day will begin with demonstrations and discussions on how to craft a strong composition. She will guide students every step of the way in their painting process.

Registration is $150 per person per day or $275 for the entire weekend and can be purchased online. A required supply list is included on the registration page.

  • Why: Participants will learn composition, color choice, and other techniques for landscape painting in this workshop. Thirty percent of all proceeds will be donated to The Museum of New Mexico Foundation, specifically to support Los Luceros Historic Site exhibitions and educational programming.
