Los Amigos de Valles Caldera News:
The Los Amigos De Valles Caldera is seeking volunteers to take a shift or two at either of the two bookstore locations during the Valles Caldera National Preserve 2024 Fall Fiesta’s nine day event.
The bookstore manager will train volunteers in using the sales system and also how to stock the store with inventory.
Hours needing volunteers:
- Between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the Entrance Station; and
- Between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Ranger Station in the historic district.

About the Valles Caldera’s Fall Fiesta:
Valles Caldera’s second annual Fall Fiesta returns this October. The Preserve would like to invite the public to celebrate the rich natural beauty and cultural heritage of this special volcano. We are looking forward to the exciting event. Every day of the fiesta will feature ranger-guided programs, special guest speakers, artisans from local tribes and pueblos, cultural demonstrations, and learning activities. Along with bugling bull elk and glimmering fall colors, this is a fantastic time to visit Valles Caldera for the first time or the hundredth.
