Los Alamos Tennis Club Extends Winning Streak to 4-0

LATC News:
The Los Alamos Tennis Club (LATC) captained by Joel Williams defeated the Jim Cline Tennis Club team of Benjamin Jaseph (JCTC-Jaseph) 5-0 in matches played Sunday, April 13, at Urban Park.
Two singles and three doubles matches were contested. The teams play in the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Northern New Mexico Adult 18 & Over League for men rated up to 3.5 in the USTA’s rating system.
In Number 1 singles Geoff Mills of the LATC defeated Benjamin Jaseph in two sets 6-3, 6-3. In Number 2 singles, Shuh-Rong Chen of the LATC defeated by Mark Howard 6-2, 6-2.
In Number 1 doubles the LATC team of Tom Kelly/Bob Nolan defeated Christiansen/Simmons of 6-1, 6-0. In Number 2 doubles Chris Lee and Gordon Medford of the LATC  defeated Jojola/Wall intwo sets 6-1, 6-2. 
Finally, in Number 3 doubles the LATC team of Jerome Morzinski and Joel Williams won by default. 
The next match for the LATC team will be on Saturday, April 19, in Santa Fe against a team from the El Gancho Fitness Swim and Racquet Club.
