SPORTS News:

The Los Alamos Rams Hockey Team just came off a four-game losing streak and was looking for a win Friday night as they traveled to the Genoveva Chavez Community Center Ice Rink in Santa Fe.

The Rams faced off with the Santa Fe Blue Jackets, a team made up of players from the various high schools in Santa Fe. The Rams came out fast and scored first and did not look back making 4 goals in the 1st period, 3 in the 2nd and 1 in the 3rd to win 8 to 3.

The Blue Jackets, by no means a pushover, played a fast and aggressive game but the Rams were able to prevail.

The Rams travel to El Paso next weekend for a tournament and should do well.
