The Los Alamos Public Safety Association presented $500 scholarship awards to Eric Giron and Heaven Talachy Thursday at the Los Alamos Fire Administration Building on Central Avenue. Chosen from a pool of seven applicants, Giron is studying Fire Science and Talachy is studying Public Safety at UNM-LA. During the Los Alamos Public Safety Association meeting Thursday, Los Alamos Police Cmdr.
