Los Alamos Police Charge 19-Year-Old Man In Criminal Sexual Abuse Case

The Los Alamos Police Department Criminal Investigations Section is investigating a criminal sexual abuse case involving a child under the age of 13 years that occurred at the Little Forest Playschool in Los Alamos.

LAPD Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for 19-year-old William Louis Macinnes, a Los Alamos resident.

Macinnes is being held in the Los Alamos County Detention Center on the following charges:

  • Count 1: Criminal Sexual Contact Of A Minor;
  • Count 2: Criminal Sexual Contact Of A Minor;
  • Count 3: Criminal Sexual Penetration (1st Degree); and
  • Count 4: Criminal Sexual Penetration (1st Degree).

Macinnes is employed with the Little Forest Play School. Detectives have been working with the staff at the Little Forest Playschool and State authorities. The Los Alamos Police Department asks the parents of children who attend the Little Forest Playschool to report any suspicious behavior to the Los Alamos Police Investigations Section at 505.662.8282 or may call the Los Alamos Dispatch Center at 505.662.8222.

“The safety and security of the children in our community is paramount, we will continue to investigate this incident to ensure child welfare,” Deputy Chief Oliver Morris said.
