Los Alamos Police Blotter: Sept. 20 to Sept. 26, 2012

The following information is provided by the Los Alamos Police Department.

Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of the charges filed against them.

Sept. 20 at 12:33 p.m. / A 38-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that someone burglarized her property in the 700 block of 43rd Street. The estimated loss is unknown.

Sept. 21 at 8:41 p.m. / A Los Alamos man reported that he was the victim of trespassers in the 3200 block of Villa Street.

KAREN HILL

Sept. 21 at 9 p.m. / Police arrested Karen Hill, 27, of Algodones in the 3200 block of Villa Street and charged her with trespassing.

 

 

JONATHAN WILKE

Sept. 21 at 9 p.m. / Police arrested Jonathan Wilke, 32, of Los Alamos in the 3200 block of Villa Street and charged him with trespassing.

 

 

 

NATHAN MANN

Sept. 21 at 9 p.m. / Police arrested Nathan Mann, 47, of Los Alamos in the 3200 block of Villa Street and charged him with trespassing.

 

TRAVIS KENNEDY

Sept. 21 at 9 p.m. / Police arrested Travis Kennedy, 34, of Los Alamos in the 3200 block of Villa Street and charged him with trespassing.

 

 

 

 

 

ROBERT TORRES

Sept. 21 at 10 p.m. / Police arrested Robert Torres, 36, of Los Alamos in the 3700 block of Arkansas Ave., and charged him with DUI.

Sept. 22 at 9:13 p.m. / Police located a 14-year-old Los Alamos boy in the 1200 block of 9th Street who reportedly ran away from home and released him to his parents.

Sept. 22 at 2:20 a.m. / Police charged Kirby Eifert, 18, of Los Alamos in the 1200 block of 9th Street with possession of drug paraphernalia and issued him a criminal citation to appear in court.

Sept. 22 at 2:50 a.m. / Police charged Dakota Coghill, 18, of Los Alamos in the 1200 block of 9th Street with possession of drug paraphernalia and issued him a criminal citation to appear in court.

PETER BLOSSOM

Sept. 22 at 3:10 a.m. / Police arrested Peter Blossom, 37, of Los Alamos in the 3900 block of Alabama Street and charged him with assault against a household member, criminal damage to property and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Sept. 22 at 5:29 p.m. / A 78-year-old Los Alamos man reported that someone used his credit cards withour permission. The estimated loss is unknown.

JOHN ORTIZ

Sept. 22 at 11:30 p.m. / Police arrested John Ortiz, 52, of Los Alamos in the 3000 block of Trinity Drive and charged him with aggravated DUI – refusal to submit to a sobriety test, driving with an open container of alcohol, negligent use of a deadly weapon and failure to maintain his lane while driving a vehicle.

Sept. 23 at 2:13 p.m. / Police charged James Liberty, 18, of Los Alamos with criminal damage to property on Sycomore Street and issued him a citation to appear in court. The estimated damage is less than $1,000.

ROGELIO ANAYA

Sept. 24 at 11:49 p.m. / Police arrested Rogelio Anaya, 20, on Trinity Drive and charged him with DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without insurance, turn signal required, driving without vehicle registration and driving with dark sunscreen material on vehicle windows.

Sept. 25 at 9:29 a.m. / A 12-year-old Los Alamos boy reported that he was the victim of larceny on Hawk Drive. The estimated loss is less than $250.

Sept. 25 at 10:06 a.m. / A 35-year-old Los Alamos man reported that he was the victim of unlawful use of a telephone in the 600 block of San Ildefonso Road.

BLAKE MOLZ

Sept. 26 at 3:16 a.m. / Police arrested Blake Molz, 29, of Los Alamos in the 3900 block of Alabama Street and charged him with aggravated assault against a family member.

Sept. 26 at 1:38 p.m. / A 69-year-old Los Alamos man reported that he was the victim of fraud in the 100 block of Tunyo. The estimated loss is less than $2,500.
